Oh.My.Gods.

Synopsis:
Poor Phoebe is dragged off to a Greek island, away from her best friends, only to learn her new stepfather is headmaster at a school for the descendants of the Greek gods. Unless she can keep up her grades and make the track team, she'll lose her scholarship to USC and the chance to return home for college. But how does a girl hold her own against super-kids determined to make her life miserable? And then there's her track nemisis Griffin, too gorgeous for even a Greek god.

Review:

There is only one word to describe this book....AMAZING. I started it and couldn't put it down. Tera Childs did a wonderful job creating a world within ours. All of the characters were ones I fell in love with immediately and when Phoebe hated someone, I knew her reasoning and couldn't help but hating right along with her.

At times I really didn't care for Phoebe but only because of some of the things she agreed to, which to me was sort of like backstabbing. The plot that was weaved in with the gods was so imaginative and just seemed so real, I actually want to believe now that there is a island in Greece that houses the ancestors of gods.

IF you want a really awesome book that you can relate as a teenager or as remembering those years, then I would pick up this book. It has a sense of the 'paranormal' and all of those problems teenagers go through. A little bit of romance and a lot of drama...what more could you ask for? And the twist at the end is just fantastic and leaves you wanting more.
